burial

On sunday I buried my two children in the forest.

Since I didnt have shovel I had to use a scoop and a bread knife to dig the hole, it was a little awkward.

After disturbing 3 worms in their sleep the hole was finally deep enough and I put my dear in there.

I put those stones on top and tried to write on them but I only had a pen, stupid me.

But tomorrow I will go back and get the stones as a memorial. I dont just want to bury them and then dont have anything that will remind me of them.

It happened again. My rats Horatio and Yorick died. I just noticed they were lying in their cage, I dont even know when it happened. They had no wounds, they didnt have any unusual food, they had enough water and it wasnt too cold. But still both of them died at the same time. I hopefully learned from this lesson never to get rats again, since obviously I manage to kill them. They werent even a year old, so it also couldnt have been old age. Tomorrow I will go into the forest to let them rest in peace with my other rat Ripred, who died last year on halloween. I really hope this was the last time or else let me cut off my hands.

And here a little reminiscence....

They were always at the grid whenever you looked at their direction or when they smelled food.

Just at monday my mother said how cute it is that they always come to see what you are doing and are so curious.

My cute firstborn Horatio... He was just a cute little guchiwuchi that liked to eat and run around through my house. Which I did very less in the last weeks, I bet they felt neglected since I loved that huge red cat more than them.....

And Yorick the dork who thought everything must be food and didnt mind to bite in a toe or a finger once in a while, but was never mean or did it because he wanted to bite. Just a glutton, how rats are.

I feel so weird going in the corner where the cage is standing. I really have to put him somewhere, I still expect they come up to look whats happening when I stand there.
